Calling power utilities, engineering entities
BROAD APPEAL: ‘ALSO GREAT VALUE TO BE HAD IN THE VEHICLES, OFFICE-RELATED ASSETS’
Items under this banner include a Tunac WC67K 160-ton press brake, a Hyster 2.5-ton forklift and a Pearson 3M 100-ton press brake.
Assets stemming from the liquidation of a large transformer manufacturing concern will soon come to market. That’s the news from Park Village Auction’s LeRoy Augustyn, who says the auction should pique the interest of similarly orientated entities.
Unsurprisingly, machinery and equipment comprise the majority of the assets coming up for auction. Items under this banner include a Tunac WC67K 160-ton press brake, a Hyster 2.5-ton forklift, a Pearson 3M 100-ton press brake, a VR4 radial arm drill, a 5m x 6m x 6m sandblasting enclosure, 5m x 5m x 6m spraybooths, a Wotan 100mm boring mill, a 2J Z3050 radial arm drill and a Takisawa EX108 CNC lathe.
Additional items include a Eumach MC1050 machining centre, a 2m surface grinder, high voltage testing equipment, a transformer and mini subs, a 3m x 2m x 2m baking oven, a 300kva generator, an Ingersol Rand R132 compressor, an 800kva transformer and assorted stock items and components.
In addition to the machinery and equipment, a large assortment of executive office equipment will go under the hammer. Desks, chairs, board- room tables and chairs, computers, laptop computers and bar fridges, among other related items, will be auctioned. A 2006 Isuzu KB200 LDV, a 2011 Ford Ranger 2.5 LDV, a 2004 Opel Corsa 1.4 LDV and a 2010 Nissan NP200 LDV will also be auctioned.
“Although this auction will probably appeal largely to power utilities, engineering entities and mining concerns, all interested parties are welcome, as there is great value to be had in the vehicles and office-related assets,“ saya Augustyn. “It must be said the majority of the items are in good condition too, which is an important consideration in the current economy.”
