Magical views of the Maluti Mountains

-

The magic of the Maluti Mountains near Golden Gate in the Free State, high-yielding agricultural property in Ladysmith, as well as related sector assets and industrial lots, will all form part of a property sale by Consolidated Auction Group on Thursday.

The property just outside Clarens – a quaint country hamlet that’s become all the rage among bikers and other weekenders – measures 1 400m2 in size and abuts the Clarens Golf and Trout Estate.

“The best thing about this property is the view”, says Chico da Silva of Consolidated. “It’s God’s own country, with the property we’re selling not only bordering on the mountain reserve and its majestic cliffs, but also featuring hiking and mountain trails on Mount Horeb. The scenery and serenity is what makes this property truly special.”

Investors interested in Clarens Mountain Estate will have to attend another property auction – in Ladysmith.

Erf 858 in Clarens Extension 8 is open for viewing but will be sold at the site of a prime industrial property in the KwaZulu-Natal town.

The closure of Muinho Mills means this one-hectare property, which includes a lettable area of 1250m2, is now up for grabs. “And what an investor opportunity it is,” says Grant Stockdale of Consolidated’s property department.

Described as an “industrial complex of modern design”, it features low maintenance materials, a factory floor of well over 1 000m2, office space of 150m2 and a reinforced factory floor.

The location of the complex – at 41 Helpmekaar Road in Ladysmith – offers excellent exposure-to-business value.
