Bidvest Wits and SA Under-20 winger Sibongakonke Mbatha (right) says they will be looking for revenge when they meet Zambia in the semifinal of the Caf Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Lusaka tonight.

However, the 19-year-old winger knows that coming up against the young Chipolopolo in their own backyard will not be an easy task after losing twice to them in the last three months.

“We know they are a good side. We know their key players and their style of play and they know all about us too.

‘’Remember, they beat us in the Cosafa Cup final in December last year, and also in a friendly international just prior to the start of the 2017 Afcon, so we will do our best to turn the results around,” Mbatha was quoted as saying on safa.net.

“It will be more difficult this time because they will be playing in front of their fans, but we have to overcome that and face the challenge head-on.”

Going into the gane, Mbatha believes the team’s qualification for the upcoming World Cup in South Korea in May by reaching the last four has eased off the pressure on the players and that could work for them.

“It is important that we stick to our game plan, the coaches always tell us we should play the way we train. The good now is that we have secured our qualification for the World Cup, there is no pressure and this could work in our favour,” he added.

Having scored and being named Man-of-the-Match after their last group phase game against Sudan, Mbatha hopes to do the same against the tournament hosts.

“Personally I hope to score and in the process give another Manof-the-Match performance because we want to play in the final of Afcon and win it.”

Amajita finished as the second best team in the Group B standings with six points, while Zambia finished on top of Group A with nine points.
