INLAND CHAMPIONSHHIP: SIX RACING CATEGORIES AT TRACK IN DELMAS
A diverse array of open wheel race cars making for good spectacle.
The Red Star Raceway near Delmas will host round two of this year's Inland Championship on Saturday, with six racing categories to take to the tarmac.
Topping the action should be two heats for Bridgestone BMW Club Racing Series competitors.
Fighting for overall and Class A victories is likely to be defending champion Julian Fameliaris (BMW E36 328i Turbo) and Stefano Martinelli (BMW E36 328i Turbo).
Rick Loureiro (BMW E30 3.2 CSL ) and Riaan Woest (BMW E46 M3 GTR ) should fight for Class B honours, with Len-Henry Gobey (BMW E36 M3 ), Mishal Sing (BMW BMW E30 325is ) and Willie Erasmus (BMW E36 M3) the most likely to succeed in Class C.
The Big Boss Auto Super Saloon Cars will see Amos Cockerham Jnr (Hoosier Chev), Devin Robertson (Metal Used Spares Corvette) and and teenage sensation Benjamin Morgenrood (Ford Mustang) the most likely overall winners.
Others to watch in the field will include JB Breedt (Nissan 300ZX), JP Nortje (Tigra Spaceframe), Marius Jacobs (Tigra ), Jody Viana (Mazda RX8), Karel Stols (Mazda RX7 ) and Stewart McLarty (Opel Tigra ).
The Yokohama Modified Production Cars should see Adrian Dalton (VW Golf Turbo) taking on people like George Economides (Golf Turbo),. Dirk Lawrence (Honda Ballade) and Brendon Hall (Honda CRX).
Meanwhile, series newcomers Jordan Mac Gregor (VW CitiGolf ) and Nathan de Villiers (VW Polo ) should fight for the Class B victories.
The Midvaal Historic Car Club should bring an impressive field to the party, with people like defending title-holder Brendan Parker (Datsun 1200 GX Coupe), Johan Coetzer Junior (Datsun SSS), Deon van Vuuren (Ford Escort), Johan Coetzer (Datsun) and Seef Fourie Senior (Datsun 160Y) in the front trenches.
The Inex Legends Championship has seen a change of power in their ranks with the old guard making way for new talent.
Likely winners at Red Star should include Anro Stadler (Jentelle Racing), Willie Erasmus (Legend), Jordan Larsson (NS Bodywork), and Alton Bouw (B.A.T. Supplies),

Single-seater fans will get to enjoy the antics of the Formula Monoposto brigade with a diverse array of open wheel race cars making for good spectacle.
