The arrivals of Thembinkosi Lorch and Dove Wome at Bucs has brought a new dimension to their offensive formation. Finding space where he can hurt the opposition is something Wome does with ease. Matome Phosa

Just when I was congratulating Barcelona for breaking the Uefa Champions League record by becoming the first team to overturn a 4-0 deficit and win 6-1 , I was embarrassed by their loss against Deportivo on Sunday. Kevin

Congrats to Zambia for being crowned winners of this year’s Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations. They showed hunger, determination and maintained their unbeaten record. Rethabile

Kjell Jonevret is going to bring the glory days and joy back to Pirates. The win against EC Bees will boost the confidence of the players going forward. It’s only a matter of time before the players start responding to the coach. Amogelang Kgatla Well done to my Orlando Pirates for their victory after 12 games without a win. Seemingly, Kjell Joveret is gradually bringing back hope to us. But EC Bees gave Bucs the run for their money, albeit in a 3-1 defeat. Mzwakhe Siyaca Ka Nkonki

Grant Margeman is stamping his authority in the heart of midfield. He has shown us what he’s capable of in the U-20 Afcon (Ed: Look out for our profile of Margeman on Page 9). Tlaruma

Nhlahla Vilakazi has really settled well at Free State Stars. He’s on form and enjoying himself by controlling the midfield. His combination with captain Masehe is making things easier for the other players. Lerato Cape Town City have proved that they are giant-killers. They destroy whoever are in front of them. Credit to Comitis, Tinkler and his players for beating their opponents. They are doing a great job for the team and stand a good chance to challenge for the league title. Mavis Ramphaka

The greatest comeback of all time was by Barcelona at the Nou Camp, defeating PSG to advance to the quarterfinals of the Champions League. I was very impressed with their application. If there is anything to learn from that it is their belief. I hope every team in the world takes note. I salute them. Thabo Rabalao

Dear Mr Editor, thanks for printing my letter last week, whereby I mentioned that Pirates will rise like a submarine and fire torpedoes into the Chiefs net. Thank you for your sense of humour, yes one torpedo did find its mark – its’ reload time and the phoenix will rise from the ashes. WOW! what a stunning picture of Herve Renard, let’s hope he is our new coach. Looking forward to your next edition. Frank Pienaar What a disaster again for Arsenal to lose 5-1 to Bayern and crash out 10-2 on aggregate. This proves that Arsenal need many changes – from their coach to their players, I wonder if they are going to qualify for the Uefa Champions League this season. Maybe they will only go to the Europa League. Their ship is sinking. Kev

I would like to congratulate Barcelona for breaking the Uefa Champions League record by overturning a 4-0 defeat and winning 6-1 – that’s history. TK
