It’s dog-eat-dog in relegation bunfight

If you thought Bidvest Wits wrapping up the Absa Premiership with a game in hand on Wednesday renders the last day of league matches dull, think again because there will still be blood, sweat and tears on May 27.

Five teams are still in danger of relegation as the season comes to a close and will be fighting for their lives as there were no changes in the relegation zone despite Chippa United scoring a big 3-0 win over SuperSport United.

Bloemfontein Celtic, under the tutelage of caretaker coach Lehlohonolo Seema (left), Free State Stars, Chippa United, Highlands Park and Baroka FC will be embroiled in a battle for survival.
