Barrier crash claims motorist

A man died and four other people were seriously injured when the driver of a Toyota Corolla crashed into a barrier along Fields Hill Road in Pinetown, Durban, on Saturday night, paramedics said.

It was believed the driver lost control over the car at about 10.30pm.

ER24 paramedics found one of the passengers flung out of the car. There was nothing paramedics could do to save the man’s life. –
