Pollard back, but won’t take part

– South Africa “A” coach Johan Ackermann plans to field Fred Zeilinga as the run-on No 10 for the team’s next Friday’s match against the French Barbarians at Orlando Stadium despite the availability of highly-rated Springbok flyhalf Handré Pollard.

Pollard is on the comeback trail after a lengthy injury-enforced lay-off and joined the squad in Johannesburg yesterday. However, he is not likely to play. – ANA
