FASHION REVIEW: THE INANDA AFRICA CUP POLO TOURNAMENT
Jozi’s hottest come out to play.
Some of Joburg’s hottest fashionistas came out to shine in the sun at the CellC Inanda Africa Cup polo tournament in Sandton last Sunday. Having just come from some of the coldest weekends in August, seeing the likes of Pearl Thusi, Thembi Seete and Jessica Nkosi spring out in feathers and florals was a sight to take in and enjoy. Thusi’s Casper Bosman floral printed dress was by far my favourite – how she owned each and every stitch, cup and frill from the dress was remarkable, paired with bright yellow and white painted stiletto heels. Former Miss South Africa Melinda Bam dazzled the main marquee in her lemon Anel Botha dress and flawless soft golden sheer make-up. Her nude-lipped smile surely left many warmed up throughout the day.
New Cell C brand ambassador Bonang Matheba chose a runway hit, an Orapeleng Modutle white jumpsuit paired with a white Gucci bag and sunglasses.
Posing for pictures in her sexy blush pink Quiteria & George number was Mzansi Magic actress Dineo Moeketsi, a true dream to watch, in my opinion, as her outfit embodied a playful and innocent, yet devilish, personality.
As the day went on, with the tinkling sounds of champagne glasses and blissful conversations creating a harmonious ambience, it was the jaw-dropping game between Zimbabwe and South Africa that stole the show, with the Titan Law team from Zim riding away victorious with a score of 8-0.
