Take Me With You asking to be backed

-

– It will be something of a surprise if Take Me With You cannot open her account at the third time of asking in the Bateaux Windsor Novice Stakes at Windsor today.

Jeremy Noseda’s charge has hit the bar twice, finishing third on both occasions, but the form she has shown so far really makes her a cut above her rivals here.

Her initial effort at Newmarket at the start of June looked decent enough, but it is her second outing that really catches the eye as she was beaten just over three lengths in the Albany at Royal Ascot.

Take Me With You was arguably marginally disadvantaged

in racing up the stands rail that day, but finishing third in Group Three company is certainly not to be sniffed at and is well above anything these rivals have shown so far.

The fact she has been off the track since that outing is not ideal, but Noseda is more than capable of getting a horse ready off a break and, given she retains a clutch of Group-race entries in the coming weeks, she must still be showing plenty at home.

While Take Me With You might not be at much of a price, Wiley Post might be a bit better value in the Follow Us On Twitter At starsportsbet Handicap.

The four-year-old has not won since May of last year, when he was trained by Richard Hannon, but he has been running with credit for Tony Carroll this term, placing on three of his four outings to date.

Second and third at Windsor on his last two starts, Wiley Post does like to do it the hard way and his front-running style leaves him open to late challengers, as we saw when Vimy Ridge and Major Valentine relegated him to third in the dying strides last month.

He is kilos better off with Vimy Ridge this time and can turn around that 1.50-length verdict to gain a deserved success.

Royal Line makes a belated start to his racing career in the Call Star Spreads On 0808 234 9709 Maiden Stakes, but he has a pedigree right out of the top drawer.

By Dubawi and out Classicplaced Melikah, he should find this 2300m trip to his liking.

Arzaak just lost out at Yarmouth last time but can gain compensation in the David Chapman Memorial Handicap at Ripon.

Soft ground at the Norfolk venue was probably not ideal last month, but Arzaak stuck to his task gamely off a mark of 85 and was only beaten half a length by Discreet Hero.

The handicapper has left him unchanged for that effort and Arzaak can once again put up a good show. –
