Today, with the English Premier League and Championship off on an international break, we take a look at games in the Checktrade Trophy, including a big Lancashire derby between Blackburn Rovers and Bury.

Rovers have endured a torrid time over the last few years, and last season became the first English Premier League champions to be relegated to League One.

Tony Mowbray’s side are, however, making a decent fist of getting back into the Championship following a 1-0 win at home to Gillingham at the weekend. They should have too much for Bury, who are languishing in 20th.
