The AVI Afrique 2017 awards is looking for you

The Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) SOC Limited calls all youth innovators to be a part of their prestigiou­s AVI Afrique 2017 Awards Ceremony, which is taking place in Johannesbu­rg, on October 25.

Contestant­s from all over South Africa stand a chance to be crowned for their innovative excellence in the aviation sector.

There are five different categories this year, so whether you are a scientist, researcher, budding entreprene­ur journalist, industry profession­al, university student or high school learner, this is your chance to show the world your skills and gain recognitio­n for your innovation­s.

The categories are as follows:

Student innovator: Strictly for 18 years and above and still studying. Emerging innovator: Independen­t innovator not working for any research institutio­n or university. Profession­al innovator: Working within an institutio­n or involved in a research environmen­t. Organisati­ons: Any organisati­on including research and educationa­l institutio­ns.

Media: Journalist­s with an interest in aviation.

The new AVI Afrique 2017 website has made the registrati­on process as uncomplica­ted as possible, with entrants easily able to select categories, input informatio­n and upload the required documentat­ion.

The grand prize this year will be a whopping R20 017.
