The Citizen (Gauteng)

There was a lot of fuss when Neymar left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain this season, with some wondering whether the Catalan side would be the same force this season without the Brazilian superstar.

Barcelona, however, are still a side blessed with a ton of talent, including arguably the world’s best player in Lionel Messi and Uruguayan striking sensation Luis Suarez. Ernesto Valverde’s side are currently four points clear of Valencia at the top of La Liga, and perhaps even more importantly, eight points ahead of bitter rivals Real Madrid.

This evening, Barcelona host Sevilla at the Nou Camp, a dangerous side, currently fifth in the table, but one that Barcelona should have too much firepower for.

I expect another victory for the league leaders, increasing the pressure on the rest. Pool name - S6 V3 P1 M1: Deportivo La Coruna v Atletico Madrid. A much-needed win for Atletico.
