One of the most intriguing of the Uefa play-offs for a spot in the 2018 Fifa World Cup sees Sweden take on Italy, with the Azzurri clear favourites to win over the two legs, but an upset is also not out of the question.

Sweden have not beaten Italy in any of their last five meetings, and you have to go back to the 1987 European Championship qualifiers for the last time they were victorious over the Italians in a competitive match.

However, matches between these sides are often tight affairs, and if Sweden can grab any sort of victory tonight in Solna it will set up an intriguing return leg in Milan on Monday night.

Italy, however, only lost once in their qualifying group, to eventual Group G winners Spain and I expect them to get a narrow win in Sweden that will set them up nicely to complete the job on home turf.
