Minister of tolerance cracks the whip
– Germany must seek greater control over its mosques in order to prevent Islamist terrorist attacks on its soil, said the United Arab Emirates’ minister for tolerance.
Sheikh Nahjan Mubarak al Nahjan said German authorities are not exerting enough control over the individuals preaching in the country’s mosques and that this has led to incidents such as last year’s Christmas market truck attack.
“One cannot simply open a mosque and invite everyone to attend and to preach,” Nahjan said, adding countries such as France, Britain and Belgium were making the same mistakes in this regard. – dpa
