Legal Eagle sibling in catalogue for Ready To Run Sale

-

A half-sister to dual Horse Of The Year Legal Eagle will keep buyers seated till late at Friday’s CTS Lanzerac Ready To Run Sale.

She’s an unnamed bay by Pomodoro from Young Sensation, consigned by Far End Stud and her lot number is 146, the last twoyear-old at the sale.

A daughter of a Durban July winner and a direct descendant of the great mare Ethane, she’s out of a Grade 1-placed daughter of champion National Emblem, and a half-sister to three winners including Legal Eagle.

“She is not the biggest of fillies, but she has a nice big action, she moves very well. She may take a bit of time, but she could be a classic type,” Far End’s Jane Thomas said of the filly, who was bred on the 20/20 Grade 1 Goldmine Mating System used by a number of leading breeders.

Young Sensation was sold in foal to Greys Inn at the CTS Fillies and Mares Sale this year. – CTS.
