This is why the world doesn’t owe us

-

Not getting the World Cup is just the start of things to come , writes Judge.

I’m sure the following factors played a role in us not getting the World Cup: the excessive crime in our country; brutal farm murders that are ignored by the ANC; and a government that is falling apart and divided, which is causing political instability.

Other reasons that played a role include: President Jacob Zuma and his gang with their ongoing state capture, theft and abuse of tax money; the ANC dragging us down to junk status after they inherited a First-World country; and political interference in our sport with affirmative action and quotas, where merit and talent do not play a role any more.

And rugby supporters from other countries running the risk of being robbed, raped, assaulted or hijacked, with little or no consequence!

The world realised long ago that the ANC is not this goodie-goodie party they were perceived to be when they came to power.

We are heading the same way as Zimbabwe and the World Cup is only the start of things to come as the world turns its back on us.

As the editor of The Citizen correctly pointed out, the world doesn’t owe us a World Cup – and looking at the above-mentioned factors, it’s mind boggling that the ANC government is disappointed about not getting the vote for the Cup!
