Rescue pair set a fine example for SA

Those two 12-year-old boys that saved many and afforded assistance after the train smash near Welkom must receive the country’s highest civilian award.

Not only did they save lives, but they showed the rest of South Africa the true meaning of ubuntu.

Madiba would have been so proud to have seen those two boys playing a part to fulfil his dream.

South Africa, stand up, put your petty behaviour away and take a leaf out of these boys’ book.

South Africa will become great again and we will all have a place in the sun.

Ted O’Connor and Maria-Jose, I agree with both of your letters about Trump. We in SA have a major problem with our current “president” who refuses to resign. So, to all you Trump bashers, remember SA first! Duke

Siwela, I hope you do the same cartoon in the future with Ramaphosa catching Zuma hook, line and sinker. Finish and klaar! Paul J

The Guptas couldn’t milk the sacred cows in India, so they came to South Africa to “milk us” using a dairy farm as a front. Willy
