Golden Glory can blossom with his return to Happy Valley

– The return to city course Happy Valley might make all the difference for Francis Luitrained Golden Glory today as he bids to land The Craigengower Cricket Club Challenge Cup.

Lui seems to have found the key to this fellow after taking him over earlier this season. He has managed two wins from four starts, with both victories coming over 1200m at this track.

He is beautifully drawn in gate No 1 where he should land in the

Hong Kong

box seat and take some beating.

He looks a sound banker option for the Trifecta, with the main dangers being Dr Proactive, Superior Boy, The Show and Buoyant Boy, who might throw some serious value in to that exotic bet.

One of the better TAB Win bets comes in Race 6 in the form of Clear Choice, who has a great chance of shrugging off his maiden status.

He is bred to be a middle-distance galloper so if he can transfer the fast finish he has over sprint distances to this 1600m, should have a great opportunity of landing the prize.

He clocked the second-best final 200m last time out, which signified he is ready to show his true worth.

This race should work out well for him in terms of pace, with a favourable draw likely to mean he can stalk the pace and fly late.

The best-quality race on the card is Race 3, The Wong Nai Chung Handicap where John Size’s charge Prawn Baba attempts to notch back-to-back wins.

He was particularly impressive on the all-weather in his last outing and showed he is thriving at the moment.

There isn't much pace in this Happy Valley (HK) Wednesday Race 1: 13:15 event and the outsider of the field, Packing Dragon, might attain a soft lead.

If that is the case, he might be a good value chance and is certainly worth including in Exactas along with Marvel Hero, who will be popular in the betting. Race 5: Multiple Trifecta banker 9 with 3,6,11,12 for second and third. Race 6: (8) Clear Choice Win Race 3: Exacta 3 with 1 and 2 for second.
