Sifiso answers his calling

PRIME FITNESS: HELPING GROUPS AND INDIVIDUAL­S ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS

Msane’s dream is to launch his own range of fitness apparel and open his own studio.

Health and fitness enthusiast Sifiso Msane, 31, is fast becoming a movement within the fitness industry, having trained a range of South Africa’s celebritie­s like Afro-pop singer and SA Idols judge Unathi Msengana.

Msengana recently took part in the “Follow the flag Africa” campaign and climbed up Mount Kilimanjar­o.

“Sifiso is amazing. He has literally changed my life and has helped me transform holistical­ly, inside and out. He pushes you to limits you never knew you had. I can honestly say I could not have done it without him and that’s why I continue to use him. The future of black health looks amazing in the hands of people like Sifiso,” said Msengana.

Born and bred in KwaZulu-Natal, Msane always kept the perfect balance between fitness and academia as he admits to having kept friends who pushed him both academical­ly and physically.

However, in high school the eager fitness fanatic found himself having to deal with the culture shock which came from moving to Johannesbu­rg.

“I had dreams of being an architect. That was my career choice at the time. I wanted to study hard and get a good job with a good salary, not knowing fitness was my calling. I could not resist or ignore the competitiv­e side of me to become better at sport and fitness.”

Msane had to make decisions for his future which saw him venturing into the world of body health and fitness.

In 2016, the fully qualified personal trainer started a fitness brand called Prime Fitness.

It is aimed at promoting and developing a culture of fitness in small communitie­s by means of hosting weekend morning training sessions where individual­s can participat­e and learn more about staying healthy. the fully qualified personal trainer started a fitness brand called Prime Fitness.
