Bet Soccer 6 on Motsepe League

-

TAB soccer punters can bet on matches from the Gauteng ABC Motsepe League for the first time this weekend, when the upper ranks of club soccer take a break because of FIFA international friendlies.

The Motsepe League or SAFA Second Division is effectively the third tier of South African soccer behind the PSL and NFD. There’s a Motsepe League in each region with 144 clubs divided into nine 16-team leagues. At the end of the season there are play-offs among the nine league winners for two promotion places to the NFD. The bottom two teams in each league are relegated to the SAB Regional League.

Here’s a match-by-match guide to the Gauteng Motsepe League games that make up a Soccer 6 pool on Saturday. The pool closes at 3pm, mark S6 V2 P1 on the betting form to play.

M1 Vaal Professionals v Alexandra Black Aces: Vaal Professionals are finding form at the right time and are hard to beat at home.

M2 Tigers v JDR Stars: JDR are currently second on the log, only a point behind the leaders with a game in hand. JDR should win.

M3 Valencia v Leruma United FC: The last clash between them ended in a 2-1 success for Valencia, who could follow up.

M4 Maccabi v Swallows FC: Swallows have a potential to derail the log-leaders but a draw could be the right option.

M5 Pretoria Callies v Alexandra United: Callies are struggling and United look the better option.

M6 Baberwa FC v Dube Continental: The visitors have lost seven games in a row and Baberwa look set to take the three points.
