Champions Day betting is opening up early

-

More than R42 million is on offer to punters from TAB on Champions Day, 5 May, at Turffontein.

Betting for the meeting opens on Wednesday 2 May – in TAB outlets and on tabonline.co.za – with huge pools and unusual wagering opportunities.

A Jackpot Special incorporates two feature races at the meeting on the evening before, 4 May, and is completed by two of the Grade 1s at Turffontein.

The first leg of the Jackpot Special is the Daisy Fillies Guineas at Greyville and the second the Daisy Guineas. The Computaform Sprint is Leg 3 and the Premier’s Champions Challenge Leg 4. The Jackpot Special pool starts with R50,000 put up by TAB.

Another exciting offering is a TAB All To Come into the Champions Day action. Punters put on All To Comes in the normal way, but can select horses running at any race meeting from Wednesday 2 May to Friday 4 May before making their final choice a Win or Place in either the SA Derby or the Premier’s Champions Challenge.

To play this All To Come, mark or call FUTURE 1 for the SA Derby portion of the bet, plus the horse’s number and Win or Place. For the Premier’s Champions Challenge, use FUTURE 2.
