TAB's Rugby, Fight 5 bets

-

In TAB’s popular Rugby 5 this weekend, the Champion’s Cup Final between overwhelming favourites Leinster and Racing 92 on Saturday evening is sure to provide fireworks.

Leinster boast no fewer than 18 players who featured in Ireland’s Six Nations Grand Slam while their French opponents are loaded with talent including former Sharks and Springbok playmaker Pat Lambie.

Closer to home, there is a local derby in Super Rugby between the Sharks and the Bulls in Pretoria.

Victory will see the Sharks move into second spot in the South African conference.

For the Bulls it is a must win game.

The Sharks were impressive in dismissing the Highlanders last weekend (38-12), whereas the Bulls suffered their sixth defeat of the campaign in last weekend’s North-South derby at Newlands against the Stormers.

The SuperSport Rugby Challenge match between Free State and Griquas could produce a highscoring affair.

Both sides have begun the season

with two wins, scoring a combined total of 33 tries.

Don’t forget betting on TAB’s boxing bets, Fight 1 and Fight 5, opened on Wednesday. Both Fight 5 pools this weekend will start with a carryover and close at 22h00.

Friday’s pool is expected to gross an attractive R20 000 and should pay well with a number of close match-ups for punters to bob and weave.

Saturday’s Fight 5 likely pool is R15 000 and features the ‘Classic in the Making’ (M5) between Jorge Linares and Vasyl Lomachenko – for the former’s WBA and Ring Magazine Lightweight titles.

Linares is the undisputed top Lightweight but will be tested against the top Junior Lightweight of the world.

Lomachenko is arguably the ‘pound-for-pound king’ but Linares is known as the technical wizard.
