It is fair to say Belgium are having a smooth sail in their preparation for the Fifa World Cup in Russia, kicking off in about a week’s time.

Roberto Martinez’s starblessed side have hosted four international friendlies after their qualifying campaign where they were impressively the first European side to book their place in Russia.

In those four matches, they scored eight goals; 1-0 against Japan, a 3-3 draw with Mexico, and 4-0 versus Saudi Arabia.

Tonight, Kevin De Bruyne and company will go up against a Mohamad Salah-less Egyptian side, as the Liverpool attacking wizard is still recovering from a shoulder injury he sustained in the Uefa Champions League final against Real Madrid.

It will not be a cruise against Egypt, as they have proved to be somewhat of a stubborn outfit at the back, but their poor return of goals automatically sets the African giants on the back foot.
