Jali in line for No 10

If Lucky Mohomi does stay at Sundowns, superstar signing Jali could be the one to inherit Mamelodi Sundowns’ coveted No 10 shirt. The most celebrated squad number in football has been vacant since the departure of Teko Modise (above) at the start of the 2017/18 campaign. Phakaaathi understands that the likes of Sibusiso Vilakazi and Oupa Manyisa allegedly wanted the shirt, but coach Pitso Mosimane decided to “rest” it until the right candidate comes along. Jali’s favourite No 15 shirt is currently on Mohomi’s back.
