UN can relax now, says China

– China yesterday praised the summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as historic and called for “full denuclearisation” to resolve tensions on the Korean peninsula.

Beijing also suggested that the United Nations could consider easing sanctions if North Korea fulfils its obligations under resolutions that punished Pyongyang for its nuclear and missile tests. – AFP
