Park Village Auctions (PVA) has been instructed to auction multiple farm portions in Belfast and Stoffberg on Wednesday next week, July 25. That’s the word from PVA’s Jaco du Toit who says that the sale is sure to pique the interest of those seeking versatile land that lends itself to both livestock and crop farming.
Commencing at 11.30am, the first auction will see portions 6, re/13, 14, 15, and 16 of the farm Vlakplaats, number 317, JT Mpumalanga, on the block.
Located approximately 27km from Belfast just off the R540 to Dullstroom (GPS co-ordinates: -25.5596, 30.0287), the sale comprises land boasting improvements such as various farm dwellings, boreholes, natural and cement dams, dryland irrigation and natural grazing pastures, measuring 200.8066 hectares in total.
Following that, at 2pm, is the sale of portion 23 of the farm Enkeldoorn 214, JS, and portion 9 of the farm Sterkloop 352, JS, Mpumalanga, located approximately 9km from Stoffberg along the Wapadskloof road (GPS co-ordinates -25.480133, 29.844423).
These portions feature im- proved farm dwellings, outbuildings, a large shed, boreholes, dry-land irrigation, a natural dam and natural grazing collectively set astride land measuring 1 041.6615ha.
Says Du Toit: “The farms are located in a high-lying area of Mpumalanga which receives a good amount of rainfall and enjoys moderate temperatures between 14-170C in winter and 22-300C in summer – accommodating mixeduse operations. Farmers involved in livestock and dryland crop farming are sure to find value in the land on offer.”
