Mining Charter to be gaze ed

The final Mining Charter will be gazetted next week by Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe.

It was approved by Cabinet with minor amendments on September 19.

The mineral and resources department yesterday said the charter would entrench the regulatory certainty necessary for growth, development and competitiveness and ensure South Africa remains an investment destination of choice. – ANA
