Golden #ChampagneDay specials at Montecasino

Golden champagne will be flowing all weekend at Montecasino as the hotels, restaurants and bars pop corks to celebrate Champagne Day from tomorrow to Sunday – with effervescent offers to delight every palate and purse.

The three Montecasino hotels, each offering their own distinct ambience – the tranquil Palazzo, vibrant Southern Sun Montecasino and trendy SunSquare Montecasino – have a selection of not-tobe-missed specials on bubbly.

All three hotels are offering Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial at R495, Moët & Chandon Nectar at R595, Veuve Clicquot Rosé at R735 and Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label at R545, and at Southern Sun Montecasino and SunSquare Montecasino, guests can enjoy a R250 per bottle buy-one-get-onefree special on Graham Beck Brut or Graham Beck Bliss Demi Sec.

Tomorrow, newly-opened Malt Bar & Grill, which has a wide range of beers and whiskies and a quality pub menu, is offering 30% off the menu price on a bottle of Moët & Chandon Impérial Nectar NV, from R1 500 to R1 050; 40% off Prosecco Valdo Rosé, from R420 to R252; and 50% off Pongracz Noble Nectar Demi Sec, from R345 to R172.50.

Tomorrow, three of Montecasino’s popular Italian-style restaurants are offering one-day-only #ChampagneDay specials: Donatellas is running a promotion with Pongracz and offering a “buy six oysters and get two glasses of Pongracz free” special; Casa Bella has a special of a 150ml glass of Moët & Chandon for R95; and the romantic Verdicchio is offering one free glass of sparkling wine for every four oysters ordered.
