I want to thank all the PSL teams participating in the Caf competitions. I am wishing them good luck for their journey, let’s put South Africa first.

Irvin Moshidi

The School of Excellence produced many talented players. Steven Pienaar is one of the big assets. I wish it could be the next footstep for another Pienaar.

Life is unfair. While some coaches are forced to resign after their poor results, some are still defiant. Mr Solinas, can you not read between the lines? You can’t live up to expectations at Naturena. Do the right thing.

Thembi Kgatlana has been a sensational player in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana. She’s agile and scored crucial goals. She provided some outstanding performances.

Pirates’ unbeaten run for many games shows that they are determined to win trophies this season. Pirates’ players are confident and it’s going to be difficult to stop them, especially with coach Micho at the helm.

I’ve noted certain aspects from Banyana Banyana which is elusive or no longer there for Bafana Bafana, namely dying on the field while representing your country, team spirit and lastly they’ve displayed our unique style of play and identity. Well done, we are proud of you!

Mduduzi Mhlongo

Pitso Mosimane is getting things right with Sundowns’ winning ways. The Pretoria derby gives him his smile back.

IM

Well done to Banyana Banyana for finishing as runners-up to champions Nigeria. It was so near, yet so far. You really outdid yourselves, ladies. All the best going forward.

Rudi

When things are supposed to be getting there, Kaizer Chiefs move two steps backwards. How can we lose so ridiculously to Golden Arrows? Football will kill you.

Godfrey

I salute Banyana Banyana.I know it is a bitter pill to swallow, to lose by penalties. It could have gone either way. You’ve made South Africa proud.

Frank Pienaar

Cristiano Ronaldo is still proving that he’s the best in the world, he keeps scoring in each and every game. I can’t wait to see who’s going to win the Ballon D’Or this year.

Cedrick

I strongly believe that in years to come the PSL is going to become the best league in Africa – just watch how all the South African clubs are performing, you could see that there’s no small team, and all want to win the league, it was beautiful to watch the PSL this weekend.

Ceda Lutina

Please Safa, hurry, we ought to seize this big opportunity as a replacement to host the Afcon before Libya cause an upset in our last game, after the Caf executive committee removed Cameroon as hosts.

Mduduzi Mhlongo

Well done Banyana Banyana, the future is good now you have shown us that you can compete with the best.

Women’s football remains underrated across the African continent. Many football associations don’t seem to be doing enough for the women’s game, which faces a plethora of problems, ranging from poor development structures and infrastructure to, disregard for the players’ financial welfare.

Congratulations to Desiree Ellis and Banyana Banyana for qualifying for the Women’s World Cup next year. They were impressive throughout the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. They have become one of the the African giants of the game.

Swabi

I think what Orlando Pirates have been doing to Kaizer Chiefs is tantamount to abuse. Mr Motaung must report Pirates to the Human Rights Commission. How long must they keep on beating Amakhosi?

Buti

What a splendid performance this was! That is the only way we can describe the performance of Desiree Ellis’ Banyana Banyana at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana. They gave Nigeria a run for their money.

John Sebakeng

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record I want to repeat: do we, your team’s fans, deserve this Bra K? If Kaizer Chiefs continue in their present vein, come the end of the season we will be fighting relegation.

Bheki Sibeko

Bravo Banyana Banyana, your gutsy perfomance in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations deserves praise from all the football fans in the country. You have raised the bar, so well played ladies.

Bheki

The country’s big three football teams made it to the next stage of their respective tournaments in convincing fashion. I would be unpatriotic if I didn’t mention Banyana Banyana’s great accomplishment.
