SABC considers court appeal

The SABC said yesterday it was considering its options and would appeal a Labour Court decision overturning the firing of an employee.

In a statement, the SABC said employee Nompumelelo Phasha had faced serious misconduct charges, including conflict of interest, through her failure to recuse herself in a procurement process involving a relative, involving a fraudulent trade exchange worth R1.8 million. –ANA
