Macuphu in demand

Phakaaathi understands that SuperSport United are plotting to sign Mxolisi Macuphu on a permanent basis as the striker is on loan from Bidvest Wits. The 29-year-old striker joined Wits at the start of last season but he could not establish himself as a regular under Gavin Hunt. Now that he is with Matsatsantsa A Pitori until the end of the season, SuperSport are said to be keen on negotiating a permanent deal with the Students at the end of the season.
