Manchester United have been in top form since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over and will be a stern test for Thomas Tuchel’s Paris Saint-Germain when they meet in a Uefa Champions League last-16 first-leg clash at Old Trafford this evening.

When the draw was made, some pitied United for drawing PSG who were on fire at the time. But PSG have lost two of their star performers in Brazilian superstar Neymar and Edison Cavani, to injury.

While Angel di Maria and Kylian Mbappe are capable replacements for the duo, it might take them some time to gel and get their combinations going. United have been inspired under Solskjaer and look a much better side going into tonight’s match. They will be high on confidence having won 10 and drawn one in their last 11 matches.

This has all the ingredients of an epic match that will remain etched on the minds of the supporters long after it has finished.

Under the circumstances, Tuchel may be forced to fight for a draw away and hope to have Neymar back for the return leg in Paris on March 6. My prediction for this one is a draw.
