Kaizer Chiefs may have won but they still lack that previous thing that made us attend any game they played. They need a player like Doc or a Jabu Pule who made things happen. Bheki Sibeko

Richards Bay FC played like seasoned professionals even though they got knocked out of the Nedbank Cup by Bloemfontein Celtic FC. They were a marvel to watch. JM

Changing players’ positions is detrimental for our teams and the national team. This is one thing coach Pitso Mosimane likes doing. He signed the likes of Lyle Lakay, Thapelo Morena and Asavela Mbekile to name a few as wingers and central midfielders, only to change them into defenders. Looking at how our Under-20 team in their recent Africa Cup of Nations and Kaizer Chiefs players against Magic FC missed scoring opportunities, one can conclude that if we are to change players’ positions, it has to be defenders to strikers. I was very happy to see former player and legend David Kannemeyer challenge his former team Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup. That gives the other football legends courage to pursue their coaching career. I wish to see more former players in the coaching department. Lebza Lady

Benni McCarthy has turned Cape Town City to be one of the most feared teams in the league. They play with a lot of energy and determination. Benni is doing well. Muel

What a gallant fight by the Magic FC against Chiefs. They pushed Chiefs to the extra time and gave away that penalty and another. The Magic FC became tired after the 90 minutes. Ramasepela

Give credit to Thabo Senong for unearthing players from the MultiChoice Diski Challenge. He’s got good coaching and leadership skills and he must keep working hard. Who knows, maybe he can be the Bafana coach one day. Telo

Latshene Phalane is the man and a half in the Celtic team. He’s the engine for Siwelele. He has been supplying the strikers with his passes. He’s showing maturity. Ntwampe

One fails to understand how can such a massive talent like Justice Chabalala can be left to rot, while most PSL teams have floundering defences. Baba

PSG were too classy for Man United. They proved they are not a one-man team in the absence of Neymar and Cavani. Thanks to Di Maria who proved his critics wrong and allowed his football do the talking with his sterling Man-of-the-Match performance. Ben Radebe
