We will see on November 2 at Rumours Rock City Westgate, just off Ontdekkers Road, as party goers in Halloween costumes descend on Johannesburg’s newest live music venue.

Brochella Halloween Infestation brings nine South African bands together for one night of spooky tales by the fireplace.

But instead of a torch raised to the face and actual fire, they will be told on stage in the form of blistering performances and crushing tunes.

Featuring hardcore pioneers Peasant from Cape Town, Hellcats, Shutup! It’s Sunday, Weed Dealer, Dirty Moonshine, Go The Rodeo, Far From Who We Are, Slippery When Wet and Koedoe, Brochella Halloween Infestation is set to bring the house down at Rumours Rock City at Westgate.

The master of ceremonies, Kunal Deepnarain, from Cult Model Agency and Audioinferno, will entertain the audience between sets and hand out prizes for the best dressed.

Rumours Rock City Westgate will be transformed into a ghoulish getaway for the night with the most dangerous drink specials in the West Rand.

The entertainment will start at 4.30pm with Koedoe kicking off the line-up. The doors open at 2pm to get those stomachs lined with a Brochella pizza special.

Dress up however you want, bearing in mind our secret Halloween agents in the audience could pick you to win a prize.
