Rugby 5 Friday 1 November pool 2

-

Match 1: Beziers vs Colomiers There is nothing to choose between these two teams in the French Pro D2 league.

The away side have picked up a few important wins this season so they may have the know-how to win again but playing wide is the way to go for punters.

Match 2: Mont-De-Marsan vs Rouen Normandie Another close game is on the cards in the French Pro D2 league.

Mont-De-Marsan and Normandie are 12th and 13th on the table respectively - each with three wins from eight starts.

Mont-De-Marsen are traditionally the better side and they’re at home. They’re worth following here despite the close nature of the teams.

Match 3: Leinster vs Dragons Leinster, one of the best teams in Europe, last week spent 80 minutes in the trenches to record a 3- 0 victory against Italian outfit Zebre. Yes, 3- 0, and this is rugby.

It was their fourth victory of the season and it does make them the only unbeaten team in the Pro14 series, but the Irish lads will have to shift into a higher gear when they host the Dragons.

The Dragons got a confidence booster when they beat Glasgow Warriors in what can only be described as worse than appalling conditions.

Leinster should win, but it will be no walk-over.

Match 4: Nottingham vs Cornish Pirates With the Cornish Pirates and Nottingham fourth and fi fth on the RFU Championship log, this match is difficult to call.

Neither team have displayed a wow-factor, but they also haven’t done anything to suggest they’re a pushover.

Luck might be the deciding factor here – for the teams and for punters.

Match 5: London Scottish vs Yorkshire Despite both teams still looking for a first victory after three rounds in the RFU Championship, this should be a walk in the park for London Scottish.

Yorkshire are already on a negative points difference of 91. Expect that to increase dramatically this weekend.
