BUSISIWE NTINTILI: EXECUTIVE PRODUCER OF NEW SHOW ON NETFLIX

Multi award-winning film and television writer, director and producer Busisiwe Ntintili of The Ntintili Factory has been announced as the creator and executive producer of Netflix’s next African original series, JIVA!
Currently in production, the series is a fun and energy-packed drama series that follows the life of a talented street dancer fighting for her dreams. The series is Netflix’s third original African drama series and will showcase an all-African cast and crew.
“The creation of JIVA! has been a true labour of love. I’m extremely proud that it’s finally coming to life in partnership with a massive international platform such as Netflix,” said Ntintili.
With 20 years’ television and film experience under her belt, including South Africa’s highest-rated television shows, the Peabody Award Winning drama series Intersexions and the box office hit movie Happiness is a Four Letter Word, Ntintili is a powerhouse in the African entertainment industry.
Her lifelong vision is for her work to contribute to restoring the pride of the African child, to highlight the beauty, originality, perseverance and humanity of the African people, and to give Africans creative tools to transform their lives.
With the new series, Ntintili has achieved just that.
