Councillors and officials who are caught stealing food parcels intended for the needy should be fired, fined and jailed for 20 days, without food. This would teach these corrupt, greedy bastards a lesson.

Excellent column written by Danie Toerien in The Citizen on 5 May.

CR and his 19 wizards entered the lockdown but can’t find the exit, not even as a collective. Anon

When is this nightmare going to end?

Maybe Angie Motshekga should use this time to reduce the almost 4 000 pit toilets she still has in her schools. Two years ago, the president gave her three months to sort it out. How serious is she about these children?

Tshepo, unfortunately you are correct. They use those words whenever they’re in a corner because of their poor leadership, especially over the 10 years of the Zupta empire and with the emergence of the EFF, who continually rant and rave about white monopoly capital!

Siwela, your cartoon of CR and NDZ doing a screeching U-turn on tobacco was spot on!
