I cannot believe that at a time as difficult as this, Nersa gives Eskom the go-ahead to raise electricity tariffs to recoup lost revenue. Have any of those responsible for the looting and theft of millions of rands from Eskom ever been brought to justice? In the apartheid era, your local cafe had to stop selling certain items from noon on a Saturday to Monday morning. Tough if you ran out of toilet paper, soap or tampons. The government told you what you needed. Nice to see the ANC adopting old National party policies.
