Yes, smoking is bad for you. Stopping people smoking is causing psychiatri­c problems to smokers. There are a lot of other things that are also bad for you, i.e. bad eating. Too much sugar. Drinking too much Coca-Cola or other drinks. Let the smokers kill themselves if that’s what they want.

The government is trying to save on hospitalis­ation costs because of a radical lockdown. Soon, more people will be dying of hunger, depression, boredom and suicide than of the virus.

Not to mention the effects on the ailing economy and tremendous loss of taxes.
