Why is Iqraam Rayners starting ahead of Khanyiso Mayo, a leading goalscorer at Cape Town City?

On Kermit Erasmus’ uncertain future at Orlando Pirates

Kermit Erasmus left Sundowns for game-time but he is still not playing for Pirates. That means he is the problem.

Nkosi Kay Ngcobo

Kermit Erasmus is a waste of money, they must release players who are not contributing to the club.

Mecleot Mzozo

Kermit Erasmus’ problem is that he’s always injured. His quality is superb, he’s a great player, we need him fit. He is also a big earner, so business-wise it doesn’t make sense to keep paying someone who gives you nothing.

Santos Cumbane

Kermit Erasmus is changing clubs like underwear. Mohau Mofokeng

On Teko Modise’s comments on Kaizer Chiefs

Chiefs must just know that things have changed. Match officiating is now scrutinised more than ever before. They must now win fairly. Ndifelani Magadani

On Bafana Bafana’s draw with Andorra

It is a pity there was no penalty shoot-out.

Tefo Khunou

I was expecting five goals upward. We downgraded our standard.

Elias Mokwena was so great. It is good to see a player from a so called “small team” perform so exceptionally well representing his country. I wish some teams won’t sign him just to bench him or put him in the stands. Our football can only improve if our league is competitive. Teams need to buy players they’re going to use. Otherwise we have such a great talent in South Africa. Our football is growing, especially if you look at the lads from the Dstv Diski Challenge.

Choene VII

When we emphasise the importance of South African teams taking CAF competitions very seriously, most fans criticise us, especially Kaizer Chiefs fans. PSL teams need to help our national team. We were supposed to win this match 20-0, but our players are still far behind on some soccer techniques. Playing against top nations you’ll get punished for not being clinical. Sundowns’ top players alone can’t continue carrying the nation.
