Politics, sports must never mix

Politics should be banned from sport.

Our hero, Wayde van Niekerk, reportedly won at the Olympic Games despite not being helped by Athletics SA.

He competed and trained overseas under his own steam, assisted only by sponsors. Guess its nice to claim the kudos after the man has won.

So, when will our men and women receive the same help from local sports bodies as Australian athletes do?
