Hawks arrest officer’s ‘killers’

Two men are set to appear in a Bloemfontein court for allegedly stabbing a constable to death.

Hawks spokesperson S’fiso Nyakane said the two suspects, aged 25 and 32, would appear in the Botshabelo Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

The two were arrested yesterday on charges of murder and robbery. Johannes Putsoeli, 37, was found dead in February in a field in Botshabelo. His service pistol, cellphone and wallet were missing. – ANA
