Mother held on child abuse rap

A five-year-old girl has been taken to a place of safety after she was allegedly beaten by her mother and badly injured, Kempton Express reports.

Captain Jethro Mtshali said police found the girl in a guesthouse in the Kempton Park CBD.

“She was bleeding profusely and had bruises on her face and legs,” Mtshali said.
