Laing gold mine scoops top award

CROWN OF GOLD IS EC HORSE OF THE YEAR Smanga Khumalo wins another champion jockey award.

Crown Of Gold was named Horse Of The Year at the Racing Association East Cape Awards on Saturday night.

It was another feather in the cap for popular trainer Tara Laing, who trains Crown Of Gold for Ingrid and Markus Jooste. The Joostes also took home the Champion Owner award.
