Two drown on False Bay coast

Two men drowned when they were caught in a rip current at Mnandi Beach on the False Bay coast in Cape Town on Sunday afternoon, the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) said.

NSRI Strandfontein duty crew were activated by Transnet National Ports Authority at 4.12pm for two men reported to be in difficulty.

One man’s body was found at 5.50pm and the other by the SA Police Service after 6pm. – ANA
