A song and a dance

-

Sundowns fans are singing Anthony Laffor’s (below) praises after his brilliant performances over the last two games. The Liberian scored the opener in the second-leg of the Champions League semifinal against Zesco and also the winner in the MTN8 semfinal against Chippa. and assisted Khama Billiat in Ndola. The 31-year-old, who has become accustomed to coming off the bench, played the entire 90 minutes on Saturday and has become popular among the Downs fans who have composed a song for him. Pitso Mosimane last week said Laffor was a difficult person to work with and the Liberian has since spoken out. “Since I got to South Africa he was the first coach to say I am difficult, I have worked with Jomo Sono, Gavin Hunt, so sometimes some of these things you don’t need to listen to … for me I am just here to work, I am not here to get into conflict with anybody,” said Laffor.
