Enjoy Moore's Gossiping at Wolverhampton

-

London - GOSSIPING landed a sizeable gamble last time and can again be the talk of the town by following up today for trainer Gary Moore in the Betway Middle Handicap at Wolverhampton.

The five-year-old endured some injury problems that restricted his racecourse activity in 2016, but on his first outing this year and over this course and distance, the gelding indicated he is more than ready to make up forlost time.

Backed at double-figure prices early and continually supported throughout the day, Gossiping went off the 5-2 favourite and never gave his supporters an anxious moment.

Racing with enthusiasm in mid pack, he had all bases covered rounding the final bend and surged clear to look very good value for the win.

Moore step him up into a Class 5 but with further improvement likely he will be hard to stop under Shane Kelly.

Returning from a longish break shouldn’t inconvenience former Irish-based BE MY SEA in the Betway Handicap, and Tony Carroll’s charge is worth supporting Eachway.

Carroll did well with the sixyear-old last year, his latest effort in a competitive heat at Goodwood, indicating he can develop and do well in staying handicaps.

However, his two victories came on Fibresand at Southwell and Polytrack at Kempton, and connections are keen to see him display equal enthusiasm on Tapeta.
