Police pounce on stolen vehicle

A 51-year-old man has been arrested at a border post near Mafikeng for allegedly attempting to leave the country in a suspected stolen car, North West police said on Sunday.

The man was arrested on Friday while trying to leave SA through the Ramatlabama border post with Botswana, Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone said.

The vehicle, an Audi A4, was reported stolen in Pretoria this month. – ANA
