Anheuser-Busch InBev spokeswoman Robyn Chalmers says Business Day got it wrong in reports that it had offered 1 000 local managers voluntary severance following its merger with SABMiller.

She said the world’s largest brewer has started a voluntary severance programme in South Africa, but denied that 1 000 managerial jobs would go.
